More Areas of Moore County Need Faster Internet

On September 10, 2020, Randolph Communications was awarded a ReConnect Broadband grant by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This grant is part of the $100 million Congress allocated to the ReConnect Program through the CARES Act.

These funds will allow us to cover 48 route miles of unserved and underserved areas that will pass over 1,300 residential addresses, 18 businesses, 9 educational facilities and over 17 agricultural operations. Customers will be able to enjoy quality and reliable broadband with speeds up to 1 Gigabits per second.

Randolph Communications is still awaiting details as to when the 2020 grant funds will be made available to begin work on this project. Once those funds are released, we anticipate completing this project over a two-year period.
